Vision Academy is the focused discipleship vehicle of our Church. Every believer, young and old is called to grow as a disciple and to make disciples. Vision Academy exists to help people grow in their discipleship to Jesus by equipping them with a strong foundation in theology and leadership.

Academy Overview

Academy 100 are seasonal night classes that run in May & September. These are open to anyone who calls Vision their home church and cover hot topics such as abortion, politics, theological tensions and more. Registrations open a month before.
Academy 101 is a free course for people wanting to establish or develop their Christian Faith. These run 3 times a year on the off week of Connect Groups. 101 will teach you what it truly means to be a follower of Jesus and give you practical tools to help you read the bible, pray and navigate the complexities of a godless culture.
102 is a free course for Christians wanting to develop as a leader. You will be provided with a clear next step and coaching in this course.

Academy 100

May & September

Academy 100 previously known as Night Classes are seasonal classes that cover a wide range of relevant Hot Topics. In 2023 we covered abortion, politics, transgenderism, woke theology and others to give students a biblical framework & to empower them to engage in discussions happening within culture today. Academy 100 is a four week paid course. Registrations open April 2024.

Academy 101 is the foundational discipleship course for Vision. For anyone who has made a decision to follow Jesus in the last 12 months or is considering water baptism as their next step, this free course is for you. 101 will cover subjects such as, The Gospel, Baptism, Mind Wars, The Devotional Life, Theology on The Church, and How to be Missional. Both 101 & 102 has a supportive coaching approach from our team for each student to ensure personal development.

FREE COURSE

Academy 102 is the leadership development pathway for Vision. For anyone considering stepping out in leadership or growing as a leader this course is for you. To be a leader here at Vision, 102 is compulsory training. 102 will cover subjects such as Presence Leadership, Servant Leadership, Unoffendable Hearts, How to Lead Yourself, How to Lead Others and Prayer. This is a free course and only available at the Palmerston North campus. Both 101 & 102 has a supportive coaching approach from our team for each student to ensure personal development.
